1967 NEW CRUSOES MARKET | Fethiye
This architectural proposal was designed for a prime corner plot in the Ölüdeniz region of Fethiye, offering a direct and uninterrupted view over the coastline. The design aimed to establish a refined, contemporary identity for a local market—1967 New Crusoes Market—through minimal, sculptural forms and seamless transparency on the façade. The soft curves of the glass corners and clean geometric surfaces were intended to both invite and frame the surrounding natural beauty of Ölüdeniz. Although partial construction of the structure was completed, the project's original vision was ultimately compromised. Due to the client’s insistence on incorporating conventional sales elements—such as oversized signage and an exterior freezer unit for ice cream—the façade’s clarity and purity were altered, and the project was not realized in its intended architectural form.
