DURAN HOUSE | Fethiye,Muğla
This project offers a timeless living environment that harmonizes with the Mediterranean climate through its pure geometry, natural stone façades, and wide overhangs. The architectural volumes extend horizontally, combining local materials like stone and white plaster to create a contemporary yet contextually respectful design language. A central axis is defined by a generous pergola that serves as a strong transitional space between interior and exterior areas. Timber supports and bamboo-textured shading elements filter natural light to form soft, dappled patterns.
The living areas are directly connected to the pool and terrace, while the interiors emphasize natural tones, textured surfaces, and a minimalist furniture aesthetic. The open-plan kitchen and expansive dining table foster social interaction, and the adjacent pantry adds functional value. In the living room, large openings orient the space toward the landscape, allowing the indoor environment to visually merge with the rich surrounding vegetation.
The bedrooms offer a calm and serene atmosphere with their warm color palette and natural finishes. Custom-designed furniture, integrated workspaces, and rattan-textured wardrobe doors provide both functional and aesthetic quality. The children’s room follows the same minimalist approach, ensuring comfort and cohesion.
Overall, the project presents a refined architectural language that blends with nature, interpreting contemporary living through local materials to deliver a timeless spatial experience.
