THE ROBELLINI HOUSES   | Kayaköy,Fethiye

Architectural Description – Fethiye Kayaköy Project

Located in the serene natural context of Kayaköy, Fethiye, this architectural project embraces a refined minimalism rooted in contextual harmony and material authenticity. The design concept is centered around simplicity, openness, and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.

The architecture consists of a single-story layout with fragmented stone volumes that seamlessly integrate into the natural slope and existing vegetation. The use of local stone and muted earth-toned plaster reinforces the sense of belonging and timelessness, while the flat roofs and clean horizontal lines highlight the contemporary aesthetic.

Large sliding glass doors dissolve the boundary between interior and exterior, encouraging natural light and ventilation to flow freely. Interiors are furnished with custom-made, low-profile furniture in soft tones, with natural textures like wood, linen, and stone playing a central role. Built-in lighting elements enhance spatial depth without overwhelming the atmosphere.

The landscape design complements the architecture with Mediterranean plantings, gravel paths, and mature olive trees that create a sense of calm and permanence. Outdoor living areas—such as the shaded pergola lounge, pool deck, and courtyard nooks—serve as extensions of the interior, supporting a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience.

This project represents a sensitive balance of modern minimalism and contextual sensitivity, delivering a tranquil and elegant retreat in one of the most historically rich and naturally preserved settings of the region.
