MURAD HOUSE  | Fethiye,Muğla

Set within the natural and historical texture of Kayaköy, this residence reflects a harmonious blend of local stone architecture and modern minimalist design. The architectural language is shaped around simplicity, nature integration, and spatial fluidity.

The layout emphasizes an open-plan living style that connects the kitchen, dining, and lounge areas within a single expansive volume. Wide sliding glass doors dissolve the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, allowing natural light and garden views to enrich the interior ambiance. The material palette combines natural oak, matte-finish surfaces, and local stone textures, offering both tactile richness and visual serenity.

The kitchen design is defined by clean lines and functionality. A seamless blend of white and wood cabinetry, a linear light fixture, and an illuminated glass backsplash add a soft contemporary touch. The kitchen island doubles as a dining area, enhancing social interaction and spatial efficiency.

The living room is arranged to maintain a visual connection with the landscaped garden. A large fixed window behind the TV frame captures views of the stone garden wall and tropical greenery, while neutral-toned furnishings and a low-profile sofa enhance the calming atmosphere.

The bedroom maintains the same minimal philosophy with a floating bed platform, built-in dressing unit, and concealed lighting. Natural tones and textiles soften the modern forms, creating a peaceful retreat in close contact with the surrounding nature.

The outdoor spaces are integral to the design, featuring a swimming pool, wooden sun decks, shaded lounge areas, and an outdoor kitchen. Pergolas with woven reed shading create dynamic light patterns and contribute to the Mediterranean lifestyle. Stone-clad facades, natural planting, and open-air living zones tie the architecture firmly to its Kayaköy context.

Overall, the project promotes a refined yet relaxed lifestyle, celebrating local craftsmanship, minimal detailing, and seamless transitions between living and landscape.
