VIO HOUSES | Fethiye,Muğla
This project presents a timeless expression in modern architecture through the use of natural materials and a horizontally oriented, minimalist massing strategy. The stone textures on the façade give the structure a regional identity while evoking a sense of warmth and authenticity. Prioritizing outdoor living, the design establishes a strong connection between interior and exterior spaces through wide glass openings. Wooden pergolas and natural-toned wicker light fixtures add not only shade but also spatial depth to the architecture.
The pool area is enriched with dense vegetation and natural rocks, creating a landscape that feels organic and cohesive, while maintaining a harmonious transition between the water element and the built form.
The interior design embraces an open-plan layout and a refined furniture language, promoting spatial continuity. Spaces are illuminated by abundant natural light and enhanced with soft textures and earthy tones, creating a calm and serene atmosphere. The kitchen and living areas are integrated to support social interaction, with material choices emphasizing wood and stone textures. In the bedroom, large windows provide openness, while visual continuity with the bathroom is achieved. A freestanding bathtub and lush indoor planting create a spa-like ambiance. Throughout the entire project, simplicity, naturalness, and functionality remain central, achieving a thoughtful balance between modern design and local character.
