ZAYA HOMES TWO | Fethiye,Muğla
A low‐slung pavilion of warm, locally quarried stone and pure white planes seems to hover above the ground, its broad roof extension casting a generous shadow over terraces and pool alike. Approaching the home, you pass through a shaded forecourt framed by palms, where the limestone walls—a textured, earthy embrace—hint at the refuge within. Glass doors slide effortlessly open, blurring the line between inside and out: the living room, dining area and kitchen flow into one another beneath a ribbon of recessed lighting, while the soft glow of the outdoors spills in through a recessed TV niche that overlooks a planted interior courtyard.
Beyond the wide overhang, a teak-lined deck leads to a slender, reflective pool that stretches toward a backdrop of palms and ferns, turning every glance out the windows into a moment of calm. Natural oak shelves and tabletops pick up the honeyed tones of the stone, softening its presence, while large-format porcelain tiles underfoot lend continuity and quiet elegance. Tucked off to one side, the master suite and a children’s bedroom each open onto their own little green room, where dappled sunlight filters through a skylit planter, bringing nature deep into the heart of the home.
Enclosed by high stone walls, the villa’s garden becomes a private sanctuary—an intimate landscape of sculptural rocks, flowering shrubs and tropical foliage that feels miles from anywhere. From every angle, this is a home designed for living slowly: a seamless choreography of materials and light, where robust stone, airy glass and lush planting come together to create a serene retreat in harmony with its Mediterranean setting.
